Park!

Hooray! We finally went to the park yesterday! Mummy and Daddys friend Islwyn (who we mentioned in an earlier post) came to visit and he drove us all to the park! It was so much fun.. there were loads of other doggys to sniff and all these wonderful smells and sights! The only problem was.. the SWANS!

Here is a swan looking pretty on the lake..

Here I am with Daddy walking ahead (impatient Weeny!)

Here i am being adored by this crowd of people! Whaddya mean i'm too far away to see?!

Hmmm theres a swan over there..

Daisy, with her pretty, pink lead!

So many delicious smells!

Uh oh. here come the swans!

I wasnt too happy about this situation.. Look at the scary swan hissing!! Daddy!! Pick me upp!

In the end, we came to a part where the swans were blocking the way, and mummy was scared they would hurt us, as they kept chasing after us, so mummy picked up Daisy and ran through with her, then Daddy picked me up, and ran through with me..It was scary! The Swan pecked at mummy and made her scream!

Phew! We made it out alive.. here is a picture of all of our family together :)For once, the boys are all ready and looking in the right direction, and the girls were distracted! :D

What an adventure! We had so much fun.. and slept the whole afternoon and evening!

Love Weeny and Daisy xx xx

What a super fun day at the park!
That old swan was probably hissing cause she knew she was about to be eaten by YOU!

Mom remembers visiting someplace in England and the geese nearly took her fingers off when she fed them some food. We are glad the swans did not hurt you, otherwise I would have had to go over there and put the bitey on them.

You are so lucky that you have weather that is nice enough for a walk! Wow, those swans were crazy!! (They must have been ugly ducklings as children and skipped their manners classes.)

Glad you had fun...

Oh Dear Mr Weeny! I am so sorry that I thought that you were a girl...because I am a girl I have this tendency to assume that everyone else is as well...unless there are gratuitous photos of...you know...weiner.
Those swans are crazy! Here in Colorado we have geese that try to attack and hiss at me. I am always really worried about that.

Weenie,

Those swans were scary and much bigger than you. But I heard that the swan's hiss is worse than their bite. :)

We have a pond in a park where I live in California. It has a lot of nice ducks. They don't hiss and you can feed them duck food that you can buy at the nearest pet store. Sissy, Jonesy and Tinky love to go and visit them.

It's been raining all weekend here in California. We have been pent up in the house all weekend going stir crazy.
